An increasing number of children drown in Qatar, predominantly due to lack of adult supervision and lack of fencing of swimming pools.
Babies and small children can drown in an a few inches of water. Make bath time and other water-related activities safe by actively supervising your child and keeping their bath and play areas free from hazards.
Ensure your pool is fully fenced with a self-closing, self-latching gate
Close doors to bathrooms and close toilet seats.
Drain small inflatable backyard pools, baths and buckets when not in use.
Teach children to swim and teach them danger of water
